Oxford Cognitive Screen (OCS) er et kort screeningsredskab til kognitive deficits efter apopleksi som blot tager 15 minutter at gennemføre. Redskabet screener for vanskeligheder inden for fem kognitive domæner: sprog, hukommelse, opmærksomhed, tal bearbejdning og apraksi. Prøverne er designet med henblik på at sikre at så mange patienter som muligt kan medvirke til testen, også patienter med afasi, neglekt eller apraksi. OCS er allerede valideret på engelsk, kantonesisk og italiensk ([Demeyere et al] ; Kong et al., 2016; Mancuso et al., 2016). Vi har oversat redskabet til dansk og er nu i gang med at samle referencemateriale i Danmark. Data forventes publiceret i løbet af 2018 og redskabet vil derefter blive gjort offentlig tilgængelig.
The Oxford Cognitive Screen is a short screening instrument for cognitive deficits following stroke that only tales 15 minutes to administer. The tool screens for deficits in 5 cognitive domains: language, memory, attention, numerical cognition and praxis. The tasks are designed to enable maximum inclusion of patients, meaning that patients with afasia, neglect or apraxia can also be assessed with the tool. OCS has already been validated in English, Cantonese and Italian (Demeyere et al., 2015; Kong et al., 2016; Mancuso et al., 2016). We have translated the tool to Danish and are currently collecting normative data in Denmark. We expect to publish the data before the end of 2018, after which the tool will be made freely available.
